The final race of the evening was none other than the highly anticipated 1/8-scale Pro Truck class. With the track deteriorating, the temperature dropping, and the sun totally hidden from view, the track proved plenty of a challenge for some of the best off-road racers in the world. In the end, the winningest driver in Dirt Nitro Challenge history skillfully captured another championship win.

Ty Tessmann pushed the pace right from the tone and passed TQ Ryan Maifield on lap one, then led the field for the first seven minutes of what lasted as an incredible four-way battle between the two as well as Joe Bornhorst and Ryan Cavalieri. The Canadian never dropped lower than third, raced his way past Joe Bornhorst, and put himself in perfect position to take advantage when both Cavalieri and Maifield ran out of fuel. Once out front, Tessmann pulled away from the field and passed the line in time for a victory lap.
Tekno RC's Joe Bornhorst scored the best finish at a major race of his career, maintaining pace with the lead pack for the duration of the event despite following a 7:30 pit strategy while his rivals were stretching a 9:00 pit window. Even after Tessmann passed him around the 35-minute mark he never lost focus, maintaining his gap over the third-place battle and rolling across the finish line eleven seconds ahead of the next driver.
B-Main bump-up Spencer RIvkin fought from 14th on the grid into the top five before the halfway point in the race, and kept pushing all the way until the finish tone. He caught Bornhorst's teammate Ryan Lutz on the final lap and pushed his way past, landing on the podium and also securing his best major nitro finish to date.
About ten minutes after Ryan Cavalieri's RC8T3 rolled to a stop from second place with an empty fuel tank, dropping him to 13th, Ryan Maifield's 8IGHT-T 4.0 did the same thing. Fortunately for the Top Qualifier, he fell only to sixth - and when David Ronnefalk ran out on the final lap, he re-entered the top five.
