SoCal Nitro Raceway hosted a Grand Opening Race this past weekend. The event had 100 entries. Adam Drake was the top qualifier in pro nitro buggy. Drake went on to lead every lap in the 30 minute final and take the victory by two laps over Anthony Westergaard and Marcus Garrett.

Buggy:

Mugen Seiki MBX8 Buggy .
O.S. Speed B21 Adam Drake engine, O.S. 2090 pipe.
Pro-Line Holeshot (M3), velocity wheels.
Futaba 7PX radio system.
Flash Point 30% nitro fuel and 2500mAh receiver battery.
Protek 170SBL and 170TBL servos.
