Dustin Richards wins at the Winter Racing League season opener

This past weekend was the first round of the Winter Racing League (WRL) at CRCRC. This round had an amazing 19 heats and 179 entries. JConcepts Team Driver Dustin Richards ran the largest class in 2wd Mod Buggy that had a E main and the third largest class that had a D in 2wd Mod SCT. One point that makes these two classes interesting is that at the end of the 6 series races there is a combined winner with the best points from 2wd Mod Buggy and 2wd Mod SCT. There were many factory drivers in attendance with racers making trips from Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and West Virginia.

In 2wd Mod Dustin’s gold compound V1 Barcodes rocked the rear and the gold Rips kept the front of his 2wd going in the right direction. For SCT Dustin ran gold all the way around also with Pressure Points in the front and Bar Codes in the rear.

Congratulations go out to fellow JConcepts driver JP Richards for winning the 2wd Mod Buggy Class. Congrats also go out to Luke Richards making it a Richards / JConcepts sweep of the podium in SCT. It was Luke Richards privateering JConcepts products with the win, JP Richards JConcepts driver in 2nd, and Dustin Richards in third in Mod 2wd SCT.

Coming out of the event Dustin is second in the combined points with a 3rd in 2wd Mod SCT and 5th in 2wd Mod Buggy. JConcepts driver JP Richards leads the combined points with a win in 2wd Mod Buggy and a 2nd in 2wd Mod SCT.
