EazyRC Race Report:
This past weekend the Trackstar Grand Prix was held at one of Southern California's newer indoor facilities called SDRC which refers to San Diego Radio Control. The track and facility has a very cozy feel with a nice size track surface. What stood out the most about SDRC was the high quality talent within the local racers.
With a great turnout and head to head racing, the Trackstar Grand Prix was one of the funner events we've attended throughout the year.
The Pro Mod Buggy Class was filled with talent and would be one of the premier classes of the event. The 18 lap final came down to the final lap with an amazing battle between three racers and 3 different brands of vehicles. Andrew Smolnik of Team C, Brian Kinwald of Team Associated and Sanford Lucas of Kyosho would dice it out for the win in an amazing show. After an epic battle Brian Kinwald would take the win, with Andrew Smolnik in 2nd and Sanford Lucas in 3rd. All finishing within 1 sec of eachother.
Congrats to all the drivers for a great performance.
