Event Name: Elite Electric Challenge
Event Location: Bumps & Jumps in Harrisburg, PA
Event Date(s): March 9, 2012 to March 10, 2012
Bumps & Jumps Raceway, located just outside of Harrisburg, PA, held their annual Elite Electric Challenge race to cap off their winter indoor off road season of racing, drawing in 135 entries. JConcepts was well represented throughout the event by Andy Castellini and Mike Gay.
Gold Bar Codes were the tire of choice in all of the classes on the chalky, clay surface. Andy was able to take the TQ honors in modified racing truck, with JConcepts Bar Codes also being used by many A main drivers during the race day. Andy showed great consistency, finishing 2nd in 2wd mod buggy, 4wd mod buggy, and modified truck. Mike rounded out the podium in 4wd mod buggy, finishing 3rd overall. In 2wd mod buggy, Mike’s Bar Codes equipped B4.1 eventually checked out on the field, taking down the win, with Andy in 2nd to put JConcepts on the top 2 spots of one of the most competitive classes.
