EXCLUSIVE PICS: New AKA 1/10th 'Rebar' tire!

LRC has obtained the first photos of AKA's new 1/10th electric tires! The first tire, called the 'Rebar,' is equipped with what looks to be a clay-style tread pattern. (We expect more tread patterns will follow)

We were informed that the tires you see in these pictures are, in fact, the first out of the mold! And they were made this afternoon. Talk about fresh.

The new tires will be available as 2WD/4WD rears, as well as 2WD and 4WD fronts. Initially, the Rebar will be available in Super Soft (Orange) and Soft (Green) compounds.

We hear that Jared Tebo worked closely with Mark Pavidis in the design of the Rebar. You can see Tebo and the rest of the AKA team debut the new tire March 18-20 at the Cactus Classic in Scottsdale, Arizona. You can watch it LIVE on LiveRC.com!
