Family of Jeff "Boomer" Ernst look to crowd funding to help with medical costs

Jeff “Boomer” Ernst, the photographer brother of renowned race organizer Scotty Ernst and a familiar face at RC races across Wisconsin and the U.S., was admitted to the hospital on January 7 with complications of an existing liver condition. His daughter, Mandie Skinkis, has created a GoFundMe account to help offset the increasing costs of his care and time off work, and Milwaukee-area racer Jesse Wolkenheim asked LiveRC to post a link to the crowd funding campaign asking the RC community for help.
