Team Orion and Horizon Hobby have both added product listings to their respective websites with images, part numbers and prices for two new 1/8-scale-sized brushless motors and what looks to be a new ESC as well.
According to listings on both websites, the 690-size, 4-pole motors (according to the product name) will be available in 1900Kv and 2100Kv varieties to start. Neither www.teamorion.com or www.horizonhobby.com has any details about the new motors, though Horizon did list the prices.
TEAM ORION Vortex HMX Pro 690 1900kv 4P - #ORI28391, $185
TEAM ORION Vortex HMX Pro 690 2100kv 4P - #ORI28392, $185
Horizon's website also has a listing for combos with both units that include an ESC called the HMX 8, which also hasn't been released nor even listed separately as of this article's posting time. The photo below was used for each combo's item page, showing an all-black unit that looks identical to the HMX 10.
