Thornhill Racing Circuit Lonestar Nitro Challenge ROAR Fuel Off-Road Nationals Warm-Up
There’s no rule stating it must happen, but it’s not uncommon for the host of a major national or world championship race to organize a “warm-up” a few weeks before the main event - it gives the top pros a chance to check out what track conditions might be like, and encourages local drivers to race alongside top-level competition in a low-stakes environment. Since this weekend is the warm-up race for the ROAR Fuel Off-Road Nationals at Stateline R/C, I dug up the results of last year’s warm-up at Thornhill Racing Circuit - which was also the Lonestar Challenge - to see if the attendees benefitted from the extra track time.
