The Italian Onroad Championship took place two weeks ago in Sesso, Italy. The smooth and high traction asphalt track provided some great racing. Team XRAY's, Francesco Martini, entered in the 1/12 scale and FWD drive classes with his XRAY vehicles.
Despite his lack of experience in 1/12 scale, Martini was able to improve with each round of qualifying and taking the overall win in the final using his X12.
With some modifications to the 4wd T3, Martini was able to compete in the FWD class by disconnecting the rear drive (making it a FWD vehicle). While the car was not designed as a FWD, Francesco dominated the class with a convincing TQ and overall race win.
