Frank won Intermediate Buggy at Turkey Hangover

Over the weekend I headed out to Southside Raceway in Lake City, FL for the 2017 Turkey Hangover race where I would be running Intermediate Nitro Buggy. The track crew did a great job getting the track ready after all the recent rainfall. In my first qualifier I was able to put in a good run and set TQ. Before the second qualifier I made a couple minor changes and would come take 2nd for that round due to driver error.

Going into the 20 minute Buggy final I made some changes based on what I noticed after the second qualifier. Starting first on the grid I knew I just needed to be consistent to take the win. A couple minutes in I would find myself about 15 seconds ahead of second place. I would be able to maintain the lead from tone to tone and take the win. I was very happy with my perfomance and how the car reacted to the changes I made after the qualifiers.
