CML Race Report:
Team Associated and Reedy wasted no time getting the regional hit team into operation this past weekend.
Frankly Model Car Club hosted the 3rd round of there winter series on the new track layout and it was new boy 'Mighty Mitch Booth' who took the win from Frankley regular and TQ man Matthew Lawrence.
Younger brother and bother boy Ryan Lawrence played rear gunner to his bro to finish off an impressive 1,2,3 for the team. The Junior Boot Camp members were backed up all the way by Sergeant Shakespeare leading the way for the older generation and finishing in a polished 4th place after a race long battle with Ryan for the final spot on the podium.
Serg Shakey said "he thought it best to let the young lads get some credit and not take all the glory" Mitch said after the race that the switch back to Team Associated after a few years running HoBao "was like slipping back into a pair of his comfy old Y fronts. He loved it and can't wait to join up with the elite force for some testing later in the year"
