FTW Press Release:
–After topping off the MBX7 with a Night Fox body shell, the FTW R&D team set to work on chassis improvements for the world champion buggy. Creating genuine quasi-isotropic carbon fiber replacement shock towers was a good first step, but they went further, adding more camber link tuning positions on the rear tower. Weak links must be banished, so next a carbon fiber upper plate was designed to replace the stock plastic piece.
The front shock tower is precision CNC-cut in the USA from 4mm thick genuine quasi-isotropic carbon fiber, weighs 14 grams, and maintains all factory mounting and adjustment holes.
The rear shock tower is precision CNC-cut in the USA from 4mm thick genuine quasi-isotropic carbon fiber, weighs 22 grams, and augments the stock mounting holes with a second vertical row of camber link holes located 5mm outboard from the stock positions for more tuning options.
The upper plate is precision CNC-cut in the USA from 3mm thick genuine quasi-isotropic carbon fiber and is equipped with all hardware necessary for installation.
