Futaba Race Report:
The Futaba 4PKS delivers the lightning-fast response and advanced features today’s top drivers demand. The system helped two racers reach first place – and another get second. The 4PKS was their weapon of choice at this year’s CRCRC Midwest Electric Championships! Qualifying rounds took place January 11 and 12; Mains followed on January 13.
2WD Stock Stadium Truck
Scott Cramer had an amazing A Main victory, TQ’ing all four rounds of qualifying. Of course, Scott had the Futaba 4PKS in his arsenal of race-winning tools. The 4PKS’ ultra-low latency and interference-free 2.4GHz FASST operation helped him overtake his opponents with precision. A TrakPower 17.5T MS-Series Brushless Racing System and TrakPower 2S 5600mAh 60C LiPo batteries also contributed to Scott’s success.
2WD Stock Short-Course
Chris Arnold scored an overall TQ in this event, with help from his Futaba 4PKS 2.4GHz FASST system and Futaba servos. They gave Chris the competitive edge that he needed to dominate this class. A TrakPower 17.5T MS-Series Brushless Racing System and TrakPower 2S 6800mAh 70C LiPo Batteries added plentiful power to Chris’ short-course truck.
2WD Stock Buggy
Jubal Dike trusted his Futaba 4PKS and TrakPower 2S 4400mAh 50C LiPo Batteries to take him to an impressive second-place finish. 4x4 Short-CourseRandy Cathcart proved his prowess on the track, earning the runner-up spot while racing with
TrakPower 2S 6800mAh 70C LiPos.
1/8 4WD Buggy
Ralph Krumme and Randy Cathcart competed, counting on TrakPower LiPo Batteries to take them to thrilling third and fourth-place wins, respectively.
