Tyler Hooks: When did you first begin racing?
Jackson Brunson: I began racing when my Dad purchased a SC10 right before Christmas of 2015.
TH: What is your biggest racing accomplishment?
JB: I'd have to say this past weekend at AMS 8.0, it was my first time attending and I was able to wrap TQ up in Open EBuggy in the first 2 quals, and take the overall win in A1 and A2, as well as finish 2nd in Open Buggy.
TH: What is your worst racing failure?
JB: I forgot to set my slipper right before my last qualifier at this past Reedy Race.
TH: Where do you attend school, and what is your goal for a future occupation?
JB: I just graduated high school, and plan on enduring e-college in hopes to pursue a future occupation within the industry, but if not, mechanical engineering is my destination.

TH: What is your favorite class?
JB: Economics and Math. Anything dealing with history or numbers, I do fairly well.
TH: Do you have a girlfriend?
JB: No.
TH: What do you think of the old saying “girls just get in the way of racing?”
JB: I don't think so.
TH: What is your real dream car?
JB: Subaru BRZ.
TH: Huge Whips, driving absolutely flat out or more calculated driving, smoother on the throttle?
JB: I can say I'm all 3 at the appropriate time but when there's a chance, I'll throw a whip for the fans.
TH: Fathers day is coming up, doing anything fun with the family?
JB: Fuel Nationals practice and a nice dinner.
TH: Action Sports or Conventional sports, what do you follow in your free time?
JB: F1, Supercross, and Motocross.
TH: Who did you look up to when you were an even younger racer, or who has been the biggest help to you as a driver?
JB: J.R. Mitch and Spencer Rivkin.
TH: What is the biggest piece of advice you would give to a new up and coming racer?
JB: Never give up and be patient.
I'd like to thank Jackson for answering my questions! I heard him called the prodigy of the wizard, Alex Kosciuszek, last weekend — and I think it’s true. He is calm, calculated and quick. Keep pushing homie!
