BMiller Racing Race Report:
Rod Gilley parlayed a pair of victories and a second place finish into the overall title of the BMiller Top Driver Challenge at Cheese City XTreme RC Raceway in Monroe, Wisconsin. The unique racing program hosted by BMiller Racing featured five classes with a 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points system utilized to tally the overall final standings and determine the $100 cash prize winner for top driver honors. Racers were allowed to compete in as many classes as they wanted with only sportsman not counting towards the BMiller Challenge points standings.
Gilley won both the Stock Buggy and 4wd Short Course titles and placed second in stock short course for a final total of 29 points. Shannon Werntz competed in all four scoring classes and finished second overall with 24 points, while Kevin Kretsinger was third overall with 21 points, highlighted by a win in Rally.
Additional class winners included Cory Yoder in Stock Short Course and Kirk Kowalski in Sportsman.
