HB RACING FASTEST GROWING COMPANY AT 2018 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

At the recent 2018 1:8 IFMAR World Championships in Australia, HB Racing saw exceptional growth in the number of HB D817 buggies entered in the event, more than double the percentage from the last World Championships. Team Driver David Ronnefalk was shooting for back-to-back IFMAR titles, and HB Racing was looking to take the 1:8 World title for the 3rd time in a row. Starting 2nd on the grid, a balky clutchbell at the start of the race kept David out of the winner’s circle. But he drove like a champion, charging from last place to finish 4th. HB Racing is very proud of the growth in popularity of our products with the racers, as well as the dedicated effort and team spirit throughout the event. 

HB Team Manager Adrien Bertin summed it up: “I am so happy to see our effort result in HB Racing moving up to become the second biggest marque at the Worlds. We had a great team atmosphere and every single HB driver perfectly fit our team spirit. To win this kind of racing you need to have the event turning in your direction, and this time it was not the case. But we had a real shot at victory. World Championship races push you to the limit and help you to find new ways of development. We are already at work for the future...”

HB Designer Torrance Deguzman added: “When I joined HB Racing in late 2010 there'd be one or two of our factory drivers at the races and hardly any privateer drivers racing our cars. In the following 8 years our team has grown in popularity and I'm surprised with the results! We were able to accomplish this not only by producing great racing cars, but also by providing a pleasant team atmosphere - one where racers come away feeling happy to be part of the HB team. We'll strive to continue this for the future.”
