Hobbico introduces new Dromida 1:18 scale RTR vehicle line

Hobbico has announced today the all-new lineup of Dromida RTR vehicles, available exclusively through Hobbico. These new mini's are fully ready to go out of the box, and built for fun at a low price!

In the past, there have been only two choices in entry-level vehicles: toy-quality models with low prices or hobby-quality products with higher price tags and more features. Now there’s a third choice: Dromida, a new line of RTRs that offers hobby-quality vehicles and 4WD performance and features for just $99.99. Current offerings include the SC4.18 short course truck, BX4.18 buggy and the MT4.18 monster truck.

With a Dromida RTR, first-timers have everything they need for a first drive, right down to “AA” batteries for the radio. And since Dromida vehicles are 1/18 scale, that first drive can happen anytime, rain or shine, indoors or out. Dromida RTRs also offer two features that toy-quality RTRs can’t: high performance and a future.

Instead of sacrificing features and performance to keep prices low, Dromida RTRs put performance first, with best-in-class 20 mph speeds and a host of value-added extras. These include waterproof electronics, full bearings, an independent steering servo for better handling, plus all batteries and an AC charger. All three vehicles are designed to deliver high performance not just today, but into the future.

Dual-rate steering and a fully adjustable suspension give drivers additional ways to enjoy R/C and room to grow. All parts are ruggedly built to survive the off-road pounding that first-timers can dish out. Parts compatibility among the three vehicles is 80+%. Option parts and speed kits are also available, so drivers can upgrade their vehicles for as much performance and speed as they want.
