Hobby Pro USA Race Report:
The 2012 Silverstate Classic had some of the best weather seen in years at the event, which brewed up some great competition and great times!
In Nitro Truggy Jeremy Kortz debuted the Agama A8T Truggy which performed flawlessly all weekend. Kortz put the all new Agama A8T into the A main on it's maiden voyage and finished in a respectable 8th place overall in the Pro Truggy Class. We look forward to continuing our research and development with the Agama A8T as the truggy has tremendous signs of being a top competitor in the truggy Market.
In Nitro Buggy the Bad Boy of RC Jeremy Kortz stuck his Agama A8 buggy in the Pro Buggy A main with some very consistent driving. Kortz's Agama A8 handled the bumpy track extremely well throughout the A main. Kortz fell victim to a mid race flame out which took a few laps away from his podium campaign at this years silverstate. However, his buggy worked great and Kortz layed down some of the faster lap times in the main event.
The E-buggy main event was extremely fun to watch. Our own Jeremy Kortz and Team Losi's Adam Drake had an epic battle which offered a few lead changes with minutes to go. Jeremy would lose the lead on the final lap on a tough crash, however he was still able to maintain a great 3rd place podium finish.
2wd Short Course at this years Silverstate was dominated by Hobby Pro USA's Andrew Smolnik. Andrew TQed and won the main event using VP Pro Axman SC tires.
We would like to thank everyone involved in putting on this great event. The Silverstate is a one of a kind event that every r/c racing enthusiast should experience!
