Hobbytown USA HobbyPlex in Omaha, Nebraska has hosted several ROAR National events in the past along with a variety of big regional races as well. This fall, HobbyPlex is set to host the 2011 ROAR 1/8 Electric Nationals. The Plex is already an unbelievable facility with it's multiple tracks, amazing pits, and huge hobby shop, but the the Plex crew are taking it to the next level. Being located in the midwest, winter time basically puts an end to outdoor racing of any type due to the cold weather and snow. The HobbyPlex has began construction working to enclose their current outdoor track, which will then offer one of the largest permanent indoor offroad facilities in the national for year round 1/10 scale and 1/8 scale offroad racing both nitro and electric.
