Shepherd Race Report:
The South American Championship took place at the R/C track near Buenos Aires in Argentina. Daniele Ielasi attended the event and joined the racing action supporting Shepherd drivers from Argentina, Brazil, Peru and other countries.
Already during practise Daniele showed a good performance clocking some of the best laptimes. With a save qualifying he managed to get directly into the main final as well as Brazilian Shepherd distributor Eduardo Dulac. Due to the low fuel consumption of his Sonic engine it was possible for Daniele to do 5-min pitstops in the final and he also didn't change his tyres. Climbing up the order step by step with his strategy he crossed the finishing line one lap in front defending champion Flavio Elias.
