IFMAR 1/10th Off-Road Worlds

'Nothing is official until it is Facebook Official!'

Well, the 2011 IFMAR Electric Off-Road Worlds is now official, if you live by the standards of a 17 year old girl.

The race organizers have put together an impressive set of social media sites as they gear up for the the biggest race of the year this July in Finland.

Their platform of media consists of: an informative website with news articles pertaining to the event, a Facebook page and Twitter . Not only do they have Facebook and Twitter, they have a Twitter tab on their Facebook page. Insane. I didn't even know that was possible! I guess LRC better look into that. Anyway, with electric off-road coming back in full-force, TLR coming out with a new buggy; Kyosho, Tamiya and TQ having competitive chassis; and Team Associated having their latest version of the B4 (plus the 'Ryans' to drive it), this year's worlds may be the most anticipated electric off-road event in over a decade.
