IFMAR UPDATE: Up Close and Personal with AKA's Mark Pavidis

Within the current field of drivers here in Argentina, few have been attending more than 3-4 consecutive Worlds, Mark Pavidis on the other hand is attending is 10th! 1/8 Fuel Buggy Worlds and lets not forget winning the 2006 Worlds in Indonesia with a Kyosho 777. These days, Mark is piloting a new ride, TLR 8ight 2.0 with AKA sneakers. “I’m racing but I’m not here to win it, but more along the lines of team support and testing” say’s Mark. As you look around the pits, Mark tends to be spending more time working with AKA team drivers helping to figure out which tires and or compound to run.

From the looks of it, Mark’s 8ight 2.0 has off the shelf parts with the sprinkling of Ti bits spread though out the buggy for weight reduction and strength. Enough typing, here is Mark’s rig.
