Dario Balestri is the overall TQ at the 2019 IFMAR Worlds, Naoto Matsukura is the only other driver locked into the final having won the Friday afternoon superpole event.
Naoto Matsukura (Infinity) would put himself in really good position in round 5 becoming the first driver to have 2 TQ runs under his belt. Dario Balestri (Infinity) would claim a 4th second place run. Dominic Greiner (Serpent) would claim 3rd with JJ Wang (Mugen Seiki) 4th and Jesse Davis 5th (Infinity).
Round 5 Top 20:
Balestri would solidify his overall TQ with a TQ in round 6. Simon Kurzbuch (Shepherd) would climb the standings with a 2nd in round 6. The Australians of Jesse Davis and Jeff Hamon (Serpent) would claim another set of 3rd and 4th place finishes with Shoki Takahata (Mugen Seiki) finishing 5th.
Round 6 Top 20:
The superpole would consist of Matsukura, Kurzbuch, Greiner, and Davis finishing in that order. Naoto will transfer directly to the main with the others going to the semi-finals.
