In between rounds of qualifying we caught up with HPI/Hot Bodies driver Atsushi Hara and 2008 IFMAR 1/8 Fuel Buggy World Champion and his new Hot Bodies D812 buggy. Like most of the other Hot Bodies drivers Hara seems to be running a fairly stock D812 buggy minus a few upgrades like Ti screws, carbon fiber inserts bolted onto suspension arms for added rigidity, and his usual running gear.
