PROTOform Race Report:
Team PROTOform’s JJ Wang captured the 1/10th scale Nitro Sedan championship at this past weekend’s Byron World Challenge, reports
RedRC.
The teenage prodigy used PROTOform’s SRS-N race body to dominate the hour-long A-Main at Leisure Hours Raceway in Joliet, IL. After narrowly missing out on TQ honors to fellow PROTOform racer DJ Apolaro (SRS-N), Wang won by an amazing 11 laps to take the title. Chay Blunt also chose the SRS-N to land a podium finish.
JJ was also the Top Qualifier in the 1/8th Scale On-road class, utilizing a PROTOform PFR18 race body, but mechanical woes dashed his chances to take home both titles.
