Joseph Johnson Dominates The PDX Underground Summer Cooler

The 2020 PDX Summer Cooler was held this past weekend at PDX RC Underground in Portland, Oregon. This inaugural event would consist of Stock racing on Saturday and Modified racing on Sunday to cooperate with the current social distancing guidelines. The same exciting race format would be ran both days, consisting of seven rounds of heads-up racing, then taking each drivers 5 best finishes towards the overall Championship.

17.5 2wd Stock Buggy

In the 17.5 2wd Stock Buggy class, Muchmore USA Team Driver Joseph Johnson went onto take the first 5 wins to secure the overall Championship with his Muchmore powered Yokomo YZ-2 CAL3 on JConcepts Tires!

Joseph used our Fleta Pro V2 ESC with 1.5 Blinky Software (ROAR Approved), Fleta ZX V2 17.5 ERX "JP Pro Tuned" Motor (ROAR Approved), and Impact 4500 HV Silicon Graphene Li-Po Battery (ROAR Approved) to power him to victory!

Congrats also to Muchmore USA Team Drivers Cole Hegar and Kevin Focht on a great day of racing to complete the Muchmore podium sweep!

In the premier 2wd Modified Buggy class, Muchmore USA Team Driver Joseph Johnson would tie for the overall Win with his Muchmore USA teammate Mikey Brown as both drivers finished with 4 wins and 1 second place finish. The tie-breaker then went to each drivers single fastest time, which went to Joseph Johnson as he laid down the fastest run all weekend in Round #7 with his Muchmore powered Yokomo YZ-2 CAL3 on JConcepts Tires!

Joseph used our Fleta Pro V2 ESC with 1.5 Expert Software, Fleta ZX V2 6.5 Motor, and Impact 4000 Silicon Graphene Li-Po Battery to power him to victory!
