We have been spoiled by JQ over the past weeks enjoying the quick and easy 60 second how-to videos, but today are forced to reckon with good old fashioned "read along directions" and photos.
With the recent release of THESmooth gearing for THECar, the JQ Products team have a discovered a modification to the car which is relatively simple, and will provide you with the best possible performance.
JQ Products THESmooth Gearing Modification:
With the release of THESmooth gearing, a smaller 13t Clutchbell needs to be used. In order for you to be able to set the mesh correctly, it is a good idea to grind the rear centre diff mount as shown in the pictures. For future batches of THECar, this part will be updated, to allow for more clutchbell clearance.
