Panther Tires Race Report:
Round 5 of the JBRL was hosted at Controlled Chaos Raceway in Palmdale, CA this past weekend. The track was outdoors with a glued surface, providing lots of traction and lots of tire wear. The temperature outside was 90+ degrees with breezes and gusty dust storms which kept people cool (which was fine as long as you could close your eyes). Justin finished 3rd in Expert Stock Buggy, 1st in Open 4wd Buggy, 7th in Pro4, and TQ’d and won Electric 1/8th scale, lapping the field by the end of the 10-minute main.
In 2wd and 4wd buggy, Justin ran Soft Bobcats and Rattler 2.0′s with soft white foam in the front and cut to size orange foam in the rear. In Pro4 and 1/8 buggy he ran Soft Rattler’s with orange foam. Justin glued up all his Panther Tires onto DE Racing wheels.
