Kaja Novotny is a name that has been heard more and more around the world as the rising Team Durango driver has had quite a successful season. Last weekend he attended round two of the Lestr Indoor Cup where he would continue his success by taking the top spots in qualifying, and finishing up with a first place in 4wd buggy, first place in short course, and a second place in 2wd buggy!
Race Report by Team Durango:
The second round of the prestigious Lestr Indoor Cup was held last week, and it was to be a great success for Team Durango off-road star Kaja Novotny, with three podium finishes and three overall TQ places.
Kaja chose to race in the 2WD and 4WD 1/10 Electric Buggy classes, and also decided to do battle against some of the fastest Czech drivers in the ever-popular Short Course class. Kaja was unable to race at the first round of this heavily attended race series due to other commitments, so he was determined to make a strong impression.
With the competition unfolding in true Novotny style, Kaja was able to dominate all rounds of qualifying. He then went on to secure a first place finish in 4WD with his DEX410v3, first place in Short Course with his DESC410v2, and an overall second place in 2WD with his DEX210!
Kaja continues to prove the versatility of Team Durango racing products, whilst developing his already formidable track record for high-profile race wins across central Europe.
We congratulate Kaja and his father Karel for another great set of results.
