This past weekend hosted the Grass Roots Racing Series Round 2 event at the Pro-Line Racing facility. PL team driver, Kiel Lewis, was able to consistently improve his overall qualifying times as the day wore on in the 1:8 Truggy class. By the end of qualifying, Lewis found himself with a TQ time six seconds faster than anyone else. As racers were getting prepared for the main events, the sun was setting fast. Unfortunately, due to the darkness the main event was cancelled, which allowed Kiel Lewis's TQ in qualifying award him the overall victory for 1:8 Truggy!
