Last weekend, in a dramatic finale, 16-year-old Burak Kilic (Agama) won the first round of this year's German Championship OR8 at BIG Hamburg. The end was exciting. Engine out at leader Berkan Kilic (Agama) four laps to go. The mechanic brought the car in the box. The engine was started and Berkan lost his lead. Burak took the lead and crossed the finish line as the winner. Carsten Keller (Mugen) finished in third place. Reigning German Champion Jörn Neumann (Sworkz) finished the race in 5th place behind Aaron Rönick (Mugen).
In the other age groups won the DMC President Dirk Horn (55+), Andreas Bartels (40+) and Iliad's Journey (Junior). It continues with the decisive second run in two weeks at MSC Ober-Mörlen. In Ober-Mörlen, the title 2019 in the class OR8 (Nitro 1/8 Offroad) awarded.
