Back at The Dirt Nitro Challenge, we got a sneak peek at the NB48 nitro buggy of Tekno RC frontman Ryan Lutz that was loaded with developmental parts hinting that the brand was hard at work determining which direction to take the platform's development. The San Diego-based brand hosted both Lutz and Ohio-native Joe Bornhorst for several weeks this winter, practicing with both drivers and no doubt testing new parts.
As it turns out, the nitro buggy wasn't the only vehicle they've been working on. Yesterday afternoon, Tekno RC's Matt Armeni started two new threads on RCTech for upcoming vehicles, including a new version of the brand's 4x4 short course truck, to be called the SCT410.3. The second is a kit version of their "Super Light" EB48 electric 1/8-scale buggy, previously only offered as a SCT410 conversion kit, that has been fitted with the SCT410.3 updates and named the EB48SL.3.
Though Armeni's posts were careful not to divulge too much information on the details of the new truck and buggy, Tekno RC's Korean site posted both kits to the site as upcoming sale items and though neither contained photos of the actual vehicles, they did include these press images outlining the updates.
