Love and Knapp victorious at U.S. Indoor Champs

This past weekend was the 38th Annual US Indoor Champs in Independence, Ohio. This event is always held in a hotel ballroom in the Cleveland, OH area the weekend following the Thanksgiving Holiday in the U.S. This year drew something around 496 entries making it the biggest on-road race of the year. A couple classes saw 50-60 entries, but competition was fierce in all classes. This year also saw the return of foam tire TC as an exhibition class, which was a lot of fun to watch.

The race organizers did a great job again this year. The track was overall technical with some tricky dots and curbs that could prove costly if you got on them too much. One of them was 21.5 TC which was a handout spec motor. We had a large presence at the event with great support that benefitted the team and privateer drivers alike.
