Tekin Race Report:
The all-new Top Notch Series kicked off the season at SDRC Raceway this past weekend in San Diego, California. Tekin team driver, Lucas Sanford, made his way to the race equipped with his Tekin powered Kyosho MP9. While qualifying started out rough for Sanford, he was quickly able to recover for an overall TQ spot on the A-Main starting grid.
As the tone sounded for the main event it was a wheel-banging battle between Team Associated's Kody Numedahl and the Kyosho of Sanford. The crowd cheered as the two drivers were back and forth racing. The race was quickly coming to a close when Numedahl went all out to pass for the lead, resulting in a crash. Sanford stretched his lead out to four seconds and cruised to victory!
