Tekno RC announced late last year that a new 1/10 4wd buggy would be in the works for 2017, however, a timeline of the buggy's development remained unknown. At 1:25 PM CT today, Ryan Lutz published this photo to Facebook showing himself and Joe Bornhorst doing a bit of testing at the company's home track - SDRC Raceway. While both of these drivers are constantly testing and posting photos via social media, something is a bit different in this photo than normal.
Ryan and Joe are accompanied by Tekno RC's Danny Lewis (back left) and Matt Armeni (back right). The photo shows Ryan gluing up 1/10-scale 4WD buggy tires and wheels - Team Associated wheels, to be exact. Behind Joe's tool box, the corner of a clear 1/10-scale wing is visible.
This is a promising sign that the highly anticipated Tekno EB410 is in the early stages of testing, and could be revealed sooner than later. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
