TLR Race Report:
Event: Colorado R/C Off Road Championship Series (CRCORCS)
Track: Dirtworks R/C (Burlington, CO)
Dates: October 13-14, 2012
Race Format: 6 race series with best 3 scored points counted.
TLR drivers Matt Chambers, Clayton Easley, and Justin Salerno were in attendance for the 6th and final round of the Colorado R/C Off Road Championship Series. The series visited the best 1/8 nitro tracks throughout the state of Colorado with the final round being held at Dirtworks R/C. Dirtworks owner Bill Parsons put on a great event and received tons of praise for his excellent track design for the series.
Only able to attend 2 of the races early in the series, Matt Chambers had to make the final round count to take the overall win in Pro Nitro Buggy from series leader Chris Peralta. That is exactly what Matt did by winning the 30 minute A-main and taking the overall series championship. Chris Peralta would take 2nd overall with his TLR 8ight 2.0 behind Matt. Clayton Easley completed the TLR sweep of the podium finishing in 3rd for the series.
In the Pro Nitro Truggy class TLR privateer Chris Peralta once again stood atop the leader board going into the final race. After a hard fought and exciting battle with Hot Bodies' Addy Musaefandic, Chris crossed the finish line first taking the win in the final 30 minute A-main as well as the overall series championship.
TLR driver Justin Salerno was unable to attend enough series races to contend for the overall championship, nevertheless, Justin took the win in the triple A-main with a loaner 8ight E 2.0 from Matt Chambers. Justin showed that he will be a serious contender for the overall win in the 2013 CRCORCS Series.
