JConcepts Race Report:

The outdoor season is finally upon the Pacific Northwest. The Northwest Championship Tour (NCT) kicked off round #1 in Wenatchee, WA with close to 200 entries coming from Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and parts of Canada.

Event Name: 2012 RCCCW Spring Shoot-out
Location: Wenatchee, WA
Event Dates: April 27-29

JConcepts team driver Mike Hudson qualified 2nd in the highly competitive 2wd modified class, 4th in modified truck after having issues and 9th in 4wd modified with even more issues. Come main day Mike managed to win the first leg of triple a-mains in modified truck, 2nd in 2wd and managed a very hard fought 3rd place in 4wd coming all the way from 9th on the grid.

The second leg of a-mains went very well as he won the 2wd main, finished 2nd in truck and 4wd mains. With all of the titles still on the line going into the final set of a-mains Mike pulled out a decisive win in the 2wd main along with a tight battle in the truck main taking the win by .2 seconds to take the overall titles in those classes and finishing with another 3rd place in 4wd to take the last step on the box.
