In almost any industry of business, one of the most common methods of advertising and promoting sales is by creating something that "catches the eye" of those around. Whether it be the guy walking around the mall in a Statue of Liberty suit selling insurance, the sexy models in the window of Victoria's Secret selling lingerie, or the guy on the corner with a giant cheeseburger costume selling the Thickburger at Carl's Jr., they all have something in common. Their eye-catching appearance, whether good or bad, has caused us all at one time or another to take a glance and we remember them!
In the R/C industry there are no monument suits, lingerie models, or food costumes to sell products. Instead there is what we know as "box art". Each of the major companies carefully design and release eye-appealing box art for almost all of the kits and RTR's on the market today.

Since the beginning of R/C time, box art is what has continued to help sell products to new and veteran races browsing through their local hobby shops or online stores.
Of all the box art I can remember my personal favorite is Kyosho MP7.5 Kanai 3 1/8 buggy. This is my favorite simply because it was my first 1/8 buggy. I do love lime green, so I painted it to match Kanai's car and newbies at the track used to think MY car was on the box....that is until they saw me drive.
Of ALL the R/C box art that you can remember, which do YOU think is the greatest of all time and why?SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS & OPINONS BELOW!
