New body for your B4.1L (L stands for Limousine)

You may be familiar with FTW as the company which recently released a variety of uniquely-styled body shells for 2WD buggies. Well, they are at it again. Except this time, they have designed it for their own custom cocktail of 2WD buggy...read on.

FTW claims that certain performance advantages can be obtained by using a truck chassis on your B4.1. The only problem you encounter, is your new frankentruckcar will need a new body to fit over its extended platform. That is where FTW will have you covered with their latest offering.

LIBERTYHILL, TX – May 4, 2011 – FTW Racing Components todayintroduced the Night Fox XL body shell, an extended version of its revolutionary Night Fox body shell designed to fit the Team Associated B4.1 when equipped with the longer T4.1 chassis. The Night Fox XL is the first production body shell designed to fit this chassis configuration.

"When I saw the length of the new TLR22 buggy, I wondered what it would be like to drive a longer Team Associated B4.1," explained FTW co-founder Joshua Riewe, "so when I found that the 19mm longer Team Associated T4.1 chassis would fit, I knew we had to try it. Tests by our team drivers on various track types showed the lengthened B4.1 to be more forgiving and easier to hustle around the track, even with minimal or no setup changes from the stock chassis configuration." FTW co-founder John Riewe added "The performance benefits of the B4.1/T4.1 setup prompted us to bring to market the first body shell designed to properly fit the B4.1 with T4.1 chassis. As the Night Fox is a proven design recognized for its superb aero qualities, it made perfect sense to simply adapt this existing design."

Night Fox XL is packaged with two wings, window masks, and a decalsheet.
