This Donathen RC 13awg wire is a high strand count flexible tinned coated pure copper wire with a silicone jacket. DRC'S 13 awg wire is ideal for stock or super stock classes where a larger 12 or 10 awg would not be advantageous. The larger wire unnecessarily raises the center of gravity, due to the wire being heavier than it needs to be. Stock classes don't draw nearly the amps that modified classes do. Which means you can use a smaller gauge wire, which weighs less and lowers your center of gravity. With limited power in stock classes every gram matters, this is an easy way to save a few, make your car run more efficiently, and be able to carry more corner speed.
