New Factory Team Carbon Fiber RC8B4.1 Shock Towers

Factory Team has got your lightweight needs for the RC8B4.1 buggy platform covered. Racers can now lower the CG with carbon fiber shock towers and hard-anodized aluminum shock standoffs. The updated design towers require shorter standoffs #81657 due to the solid cross-section around the shock mount screws. Overall, this is the most durable way to execute this lightweight design. The #81633 FT Front Shock Tower fits the RC8B4.1 26.5mm kit front shocks and the #81635 FT Rear Shock Tower fits 36.5mm kit rear shocks.

The new hard-anodized aluminum shock standoffs come in two different sets. The #81591 set is the standard kit length 14mm and 17mm (distance from the base to the pivot ball). The #81657 are a custom shorter set with 12.5mm and 16mm offset intended to mate with the FT carbon fiber shock towers which do not have the recessed pockets that the aluminum kit towers have.
