HB RACING D819 38MM SHOCK SHAFT

New from HB Racing are new rear shock shafts and shock ends that improve durability on the D819 buggy. The new shock shafts are 5mm longer, so the metal shaft extends into the plastic eyelet, preventing breakage. The new “V2” shock ends are shorter, reducing the chances of flex in extremely hot conditions. The overall length of the shock remains the same when using the new shafts and shock ends, so geometry is not affected. Our HB Team Drivers recommend this upgrade for all conditions.

HB RACING D418 ARM MOUNT SETS

New from HB Racing are D418 arm mount sets that allow racers to lower the roll center of the D418 buggy for the new breed of high grip astroturf and carpet race tracks. The new arm mounts are numbered for easy identification, machined from aluminum, and hard anodized black. Sold in pairs. Note: Intended for use with 204564 D418 Rear Gear Box Set (For High Grip Tracks)

Tips: In general, if the rear has too much grip, try changing to a lower rear roll center using the new Arm Mounts 4, 5 or 6. If you need more rear grip, try a higher rear roll center.

The same may apply to the front end, if the front has too much grip, try changing to a lower front roll center. If you need more front grip, try a higher front roll center.

HB RACING D819 CHASSIS (-2MM)

New from HB Racing is a chassis for the D819 nitro buggy that is designed for the newest track layouts with high grip. The new chassis is 2mm shorter than the stock D819 chassis, which moves the weight balance back, making the car easier on brakes and faster in the corners. The new chassis is precision machined from aluminum for a perfect fit, and hard anodized black for durability.

Note: The D819 stock center rear drive shaft remains the same, it should be used without O-rings. Compatible with: D819, D817V2

HB RACING D418 REAR GEAR BOX SET
(FOR HIGH GRIP TRACKS)

This new rear gear box for the HB Racing D418 buggy is designed for high grip astroturf and carpet race tracks. It raises the position of the diff and upper arm mount to match the roll center when using a low ride height. Our HB Team Drivers report it makes the D418 easier to drive on high grip surfaces, improves corner speed, and smoothes out rear end grip. This new rear gear box should be used with D418 Arm Mounts 4, 5 or 6. Comes with one gear box, aluminum tube, R2 skid plate (standard, use with this application), and R4 skid plate (for future options).
