Press Release From JConcepts:
www.jconcepts.net
One of the more widely used vehicles used in the monster truck industry during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s was the Chevy S10. The mid-sized pick-up incorporating the square body design worked perfectly with leaf sprung monsters with 66” and 73” tires during the early era of monster trucks. During the late 80’s and into the 1990’s the mid-sized S10 with extended cab made a great racing truck body due to its simplicity, smaller footprint, and ability to look good while being lightweight.
JConcepts has carefully crafted a legendary style from Chevrolet and incorporated it into a 12 to 13” wheelbase model which has monstrous style and performance. The JConcepts extended cab body shell arrives clear in the package and can be custom painted, decaled, or wrapped by the user to replicate a favorite. The team took the opportunity to signify an era with the photo model with the 1:10th Jason Ruona paint scheme courtesy of Darkside Designs. The S10 features large wheel well openings that allow an abundance of clearance for large tires such as the JConcepts Renegades #3168, Racer #4038, and Runner #4044 tires.
The extended cab S10 body has flat body panel treatment associated with pick-up trucks from this era and built-in front bumper. The front of the body has plenty of space for included decals and horizonal body lines down the side providing detail and increasing rigidity to the design. Recessed side windows have a large format providing the look so common during the golden years of monster trucks. The bed surface is lowered to allow the rear body mounts or bed positioning at another plane which can be detailed, decaled, or painted to the driver’s liking.
The packaged body arrives clear as formed polycarbonate in a lightweight and durable thickness with protective film. The included miscellaneous Chevrolet, GM, and JConcepts decals apply easily and quickly, and the included window mask has already been tailored to the exact shapes of the windows for an easy-to-use concept. A simple instruction sheet covers the basics of painting for new or inexperienced users.
The JConcepts team builds, tests, and travels the world to support the brand and gather valuable driver feedback in search of the best appearing and performance items on the market. The product is designed in the U.S.A. and always backed by JConcepts customer service, supported, and developed by professionals with style. Look for reputable dealers and distributors and demand authentic products – choose JConcepts.
