JConcepts’ new A1R prototype body debuted at round 1 of FSEARA

Host of the 2016 ROAR Nationals, Valkaria RC Raceway, is a staple in the Florida on-road racing community and this past weekend they hosted Round 1 of the 2018/2019 FSEARA Asphalt Series. With 89 entries on hand, racing was fast and fierce and JConcepts was up for the challenge. JConcepts decided to debut the all-new A1R this weekend in the highly competitive 17.5 Expert TC and Pro Mod classes. The designer of the all-new A1R body, Paul Wynn, was on hand with JConcepts very own AJ Marasco to dial in the bodies on this high-speed/medium grip permanent asphalt track.

17.5 Stock TC Podium

AJ had an amazing day in the Expert 17.5 class as he would TQ 2 of the 3 rounds of qualifying and take the overall win with his JConcepts equipped TC7.2 giving the A1R its first victory of the day.

2nd – Corey Parsons
3rd – Corey Record

Veteran racer and body privateer Dave Vera tested several bodies throughout the event and quickly settled on the new A1R for his Awesomatix A800 Evo in the Pro Mod class. Dave would go on to win the Pro Mod A main with JConcepts driver Paul Wynn in the 3rd position. The A1R was also used by 5th place finisher Brett Kingsbury and 7th place finisher Troy Schafer for a truly amazing debut!
