New JConcepts gear spotted at Nitro Challenge!

Jason Ruona is on-hand at the Nitro Challenge in Phoenix, Arizona this week and brought along some new gear for his drivers to run.

The most significant thing we saw were the new 'Black Jackets" tires, which sport a similar block-style tread pattern as the Double Dees, only slightly larger.

Also in the pits this weekend are the new "Finnisher" 1:8 bodies. Ruona says that the response from the 1:10 Finnishers that were debuted at the IFMAR worlds in FInland last summer was so good that it inspired them to take the design concept to the 1:8 platform.

Another cool product in the JC pits is the metal pit-board we've seen in the pit areas of many JConcepts drivers over the last few months. Ruona says that it will now be offered to the public.
