Yesterday, Kyosho Taiwan uploaded a gallery of images showing the new Turbo Scorpion re-release kit to its Facebook page. Like previous releases in the Legendary Series of 1980s revamps, the new version of the Turbo Scorpion has been updated to make better use of modern running gear, like 48-pitch gears and new slipper clutch, as well as what appear to be larger 2.2-inch wheels. The chassis tub appears to be white and may be molded, rather than the aluminum piece of the original, but the shocks are definitely red-anodized aluminum units. Kyosho hasn’t yet published any official details about the car, nor the Le Mans 240-styled brushless motor, but the Kyosho Taiwan gallery post did indicate that the kit will be released in November so more information is expected before then.
