ProTek RC has just unleashed two powerful high-voltage, digital servos—the 155T and 155S—to serve both 1/10-scale and 1/8-scale RC enthusiasts. The upper cases are so precisely machined that the edges throw off a mirror-like reflection. Deep, machined cuts in the lower cases work as a heatsink to provide additional cooling. The 155 servos are ProTek’s first to feature a “conformal coating”—a thin layer of polymeric film that contours to the printed circuit board to protect against vibrations, moisture, dust, chemicals and extreme temperatures.

Let’s talk specs: Both servos operate from 4.8 to 7.4volts, so they can easily handle HV (high voltage) when your conditions warrant maximum speed and torque. At 7.4volts the 155T has a .08 transit speed with a gnarly 453 oz-in of torque. The 155S features a blistering .06 transit speed and 370 oz-in of torque at 7.4V.
