New Redcat Racing Volcano EPX Makeover

The Volcano EPX Pro has remained one of Redcat’s most popular vehicles for many years and has undergone several performance updates in its time. With this newest update, Redcat has given the Volcano EPX Pro a complete cosmetic makeover which includes a new body and wheels. Once again Redcat has shown that they are listening to their customers and allowing them to use their own favorite 2S LiPo battery pack and charger. The updated Volcano EPX Pro requires a 7.4V (2S) LiPo battery pack and a LiPo safe battery charger.

Redcat has given the Volcano EPX Pro an aggressive looking monster truck body that includes hard plastic roof rails and spoiler. These hard plastic components add rigidity and stand off points to help protect the body during rollovers, tumbles and crashes. The Volcano EPX Pro is available in blue or copper.
The new 10-spoke wheels are durable and the white Redcat logos add to their aggressive styling. 

The Volcano EPX Pro is ready to run and includes a 3300KV RC540 brushless electric motor, waterproof 60A electronic speed controller (ESC), powerful 6Kg waterproof steering servo, and Redcat’s proven 2.4GHz radio system. The updated Volcano EPX Pro requires a 7.4V (2S) LiPo battery pack and a LiPo safe battery charger.

The Volcano EPX pro uses a durable lightweight molded plastic chassis with an aluminum upper brace plate for added rigidity. Low center of gravity gives the Volcano EPX Pro nimble handling while maintaining it’s aggressive monster truck look.

The Volcano EPX Pro is fully adjustable and upgradable. Equipped with adjustable metal turnbuckles, the Volcano EPX Pro’s camber and toe angle can be fine tuned for the best performance on any surface.

The eight aluminum threaded body oil filled shocks are easily adjusted by twisting the spring tension collars and are completely tunable with aftermarket shock oils, pistons, and/or springs. The included dual-rate springs are designed to offer superior handling over small bumps and large jumps alike. There are also several upper and lower shock mounting positions for dialing in performance even further.

Tunable metal gear sealed differentials, four wheel independent suspension and aggressive monster truck tires give the Volcano EPX Pro the ability to grab loads of traction while offering nimble handling on many surfaces.

The Volcano EPX Pro monster truck is a completely tunable hobby grade RC monster truck and comes pre-tuned for most driving situations.

Many custom aftermarket parts are available for the Volcano EPX Pro monster truck including color anodized machined aluminum parts as well as many additional performance options.
