Reedy’s all-new Sonic 900 and 900XL Competition motors for 1:8 eBuggy and eTruggy have finally arrived! Several months of development by our engineering staff and factory team drivers has resulted in motors that deliver performance that far exceeds what is required at the highest level of competition.

The Sonic 900, available in both 1900kV and 2100kV versions, is intended for use in 1:8 eBuggy classes. Each version comes with a unique rotor which is interchangeable between both and sold separately to fine tune power output and delivery for specific track conditions and driver preference.

The Sonic 900XL features a longer, higher torque stator for heavier 1:8 eTruggy use. However, the 900 and 900XL are interchangeable between chassis types to create a wide range of performance options suitable for a wide variety of track conditions.

All 900 and 900XL motors feature a precision CNC-machined case with adjustable timing. An integrated heat sink lowers operating temperatures, which results in less fade over the course of a race, longer run times, and increased motor life. Sensored operation results in a smooth and controllable power band while a powerful 4-pole rotor is supported by precision ball bearings for reliability.
